I haven't posted in FOEVA!!!
How are y'all? Sorry about the delay--I've been juggling homework, friends, youth group, track, and other stuff that keeps me way too busy to be on here. :(... I'm singing in a talent show, too, though I don't quite know when it's going to be. Wish me luck, whenever it is! Haha!
I just got back from my dad's, which was kind of fun because we celebrated my grandma's birthday. She's getting old--like, I dunno, seventy?-- so we got her a hairbrush, an antique bracelet, and some other stuff. It was cool. We ate at a buffet and I was stuffed, even though I'm a veggie (vegatarian) and there's not much to eat that's really vegetarian there. I mean, there were fruits and vegetables and stuff, but I don't really like those, haha. Isn't that sad? A vegetarian not liking veggies? XD
So. This is just a little "I'm back" post thingy, and I'll probably post something else later. I went to the mall today with my friends Rachel and Jessie, and we asked the cashiers at different places really stupid questions. We asked the man at Godiva Chocolate Shop why the chocolate was so expensive, and then we went into Aeropostale and asked why the clothing was made of cloth. Also, we asked the lady at Cinnabon why do cinnamon buns have cinnamon in it. We were laughing so hard I think I crapped my pants. Then we went to different clothes stores and tried on really stupid outfits that didn't match. We did an "Epic Fail Fashion Show," and Jessie taped the whole thing.

A FABULOUS Makeup Tutorial!!! By Emma :D

Hey all you people!!!
My BFF Christina (otherwise known as Tiff, Chrisyy, Keke...) came over last night for a sleepover and it was AMAZING. We walked to this Italian Ice place near my house and then watched Soul Surfer (I've seen that like a gazillion times and I LOVE it) and giggled and talked the whole night. She's totally my biffle.

'Kay. So today I'm going to show you a makeup tutorial inspired by the fabulous Ariana Grande, who, as you all know, plays the lovely Cat on Victorious. Here's some pics to get ya started:

Ariana is GORGEOUS, don't 'yall think? Her red hair suits her perfectly, and the style frames her face awesome. Her makeup is cool, that's why I like it. So I'll teach you a few things to get your makeup just like hers!!! Here we gooo...
Before you do anything, you might want to check if your face is clean of dirt and leftover makeup. See how Ariana's face is clear and bright? Neutrogena Towlettes are awesome because they're not as strong as makeup remover and they're very soft but still work as well as makeup remover. They just don't irritate your face as much.
Next, get your supplies of makeup :). Here's what you need: Volumizing mascara/ fake eyelashes, jet black eyeliner, soft pink blush, nude pink lipgloss.
First, apply your foundation (if needed). I suggest you work on your eyes first (that's what I always do, but you can go in any order you want).
The trick about applying eyeliner (MAC is my fave) like Ariana's is to start at the corners in sort of a thin line and then grow thicker as you go. Remember to do it in short little strokes and not just a straight line because that can effect the way it looks afterwards. Do this on both lids. You're almost done! :D
Next, look for fake eyelashes (if your parents let you wear them). If not, it's okay! You can use volumizing mascara (may I suggest Covergirl Lash Blast?), it works just as well! Do the same sort of thing you did with the eyeliner: don't put so much on the inner corners but on the outer corners. Make sure you use the blackest mascara you can find.
Next, you could stroke on some blush to get a little excitement in your cheeks. Remember to put on some nude lipgloss! I suggest Royal Gloss. It's inexpensive but a really pretty pink color, and it tastes like coconuts or something. It's my absolute fave.
And there you have it! You look GORGEOUS, just like Ariana Grande!!! YOU ROCK!!!
Um, sorry. Lol.
I know this may be annoying, but if you're fourteen or younger, you might want to check with your parents (yeah, yeah, I know, haha. My parents are always like "Emma, what's that stuff on your eyes?") to see if this style is okay. If it's not, it's totally cool! You can still express yourself through your clothes and style. :P

Wow!!! Such a blast from the past, eh?! Madison Finn: Only The Lonely

Hey 'yall!

So I was bored, as I always am in the summer, so I decided to do a little book-hunting to see if I could find anything I hadn't read in a while (I was too lazy to get off my butt and go to the library). I was searching through the pile of books that I'd fogotten I even had when I came across this:

Like, omg!!! Does anyone remember these books?! I recall when I was, like, eight or nine, I LOVED them. Madison, the main character, was like a god to me, lol. I flipped through it and saw all the instant messages they sent and all the crappy writing I thought was so good at the time. It brought back all these memories, so I thought I'd review it. Here it is!!

Summary: It's summer, and twelve year old Madison Finn is "boreder than bored." Both her best friends are away at summer camp and she spends the whole summer, practially, in front of the computer. She's really lonely until she discovers a new girl living in a house down the street from where she is named Fiona. Fiona is cute and bubbly and a lot different than shy Madison, but the two become good friends and hang out all summer long. (aahh, bffs).

Uh oh. Maddie's two friends, Aimee and Egg (yes, his name is EGG. DON'T ASK) are back from camp!!! Yay! But do they seem kind of.. different? Aimee's a lot more grown up and bossy, and Egg's obsessed with... wrestling?! omg!

Then school begins to start. Maddie doesn't have ANY classes with Fiona or Aimee or even EGG (Don't you hate when that happens?!), but guess who she DOES have classes with..? (Duh duh DUUHH...) Mean girl extrodinare IVY DALY, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS POISON IVY!!! AAAAHHH!!! To top that off, the annoying Hart Jones that used to be sooo immature has finally returned... but now he's HOT? okayy?

Omg! Then Fiona starts being friends with Poison Ivy! What will poor Madison do? She starts avoiding Fiona, and Fiona becomes confused. Aimee is mad about this (I never really liked her :/). Egg is... well, he's just still plain old EGG.

Drew, one of Maddie's friends, invites her and her friends to a party at his big, fancy house. (so... he's rich? Okay then!) Maddie's really nervous but she finds Aimee and Fiona and talks to them. Looks like they're friends again! YAY!!!

♥ Twilight... The Official Illustrated Guide!!! ♥

Whassup peoplez?!? I just took a little catnap (yaawn, strrectchh) so I'm pooped. I woke up, had some yummy Lucky Charms (only the marshmellows, hehe :3) watched a few episodes of That 70's show, then slept again.
Ahh, summer is great, don't 'yall think?
So I've read all the Twilight books, they were awesome, very dramatic and lovey-dovey. But Bella is a poo. Js.
I mean, remember the part in Twilight when they're at the forest? And Edward *sighs with starry eyes* shows Bella how much he can actually hurt her? And Bella, the crazy lunatic, keeps on saying, "I'm not afraid of you."??? I mean, COME ON. GET REAL BELLA, HE'S A STINKIN' VAMPIRE!!!
Or the time in New Moon when Edward leaves and Bella keeps hearing his voice in her head, and just to hear him once again, she JUMPS OFF A FRICKIN' CLIFF?!?!?!! She should be locked up in a mental insitution by now.
God, I hate Bella.
And the movies SUCKED!! I LOVED the books. They actually had some depth and feeling into them. But the actors in the movies were so awful I laughed; the lighting was bad, there was no feeling or depth into it at all. It was just empty.
Anyways... have you guys heard of the Twilight Saga Official Illustrated Guide? It's really cool, it has extended info about the Twilight vampires that I've never really known before, plus character profiles with pictures, and not just Bella and Edward and Jacob and all those folks, but other vampires and werewolves too, like Victoria and James and Seth Clearwater. They even have profiles of Bella's human friends and family.
What really interested me was how, when Stephanie Meyer inverviewed another person, she talked about where the idea of Twilight started. She said she often wakes up in the middle of the night at around 3:30, and that's when her vivid dreams start. She dreamed of a boy, inhuman and glittering in the sun (EDWARD!!! Sigh... ♥_♥), standing in a clearing and talking to this normal, average girl (Oh...Bella... :/)... It was really amazing to me. My writing is based on actual stuff that's happened to me, and hers comes from a dream...

Here's the cover. I suggest you check it out from the library or whatever or buy it on Amazon, because it was an awesome, detailed book. The art was really nice too, I'll post some of it as well. :)

My favorite mangas!!! :D

Hey people!!! This is a page of my favorite mangas (Japanese comics)  that I posted just for the heck of it. I actually prefer manga over regular books because you actually get to SEE what's going on instead of trying to picture it in your mind. My absolute faves are these three:

The first one, Peach Girl, is about a suntanned beauty named Momo whom the kids at school talk about, saying she's a skimp because of her tan. Momo encounters many diffuculties at school, including two hot boys Kairi and Toji and a mean girl named Sae.

The second one is the story of a girl named Amu, who is reffered to as "cool and spicy" by her classmates, despite her actually introverted personality. When she wishes to be known as herself, she finds three colorful eggs that will hatch into a journey....

And last but definitely not least, here is the story of two girls named Ami and Noa who always compete over the same boy, usually scaring them away. But one day they meet two guys... and both end up liking each different one!!

I usually read mangas about ordinary girls that secretly have superpowers, but I occasionly read Shojo/ Romance-Comedies as well. It really doesn't matter to me, as long as they're interesting.

Rebecca Black's New Song: MY MOMENT?!?!

Hiya, people!!!:D
It's early in the morning and I should be still in bed, but (dare I say it?) I'm a morning person. The sunrise here is really pretty, so I thought I'd get up and watch it. ^_^
So a couple months ago, as we all know, a new song by this girl named Rebecca Black came out called Friday, which quickly went viral. I remember on my last day of school for the year, we had a huge party and that song came on. We all started singing along and dancing to it. Fun times :]
Friday recieved a LOT of hater comments. I, for one, didn't think it was that bad. Her voice was just a little nasaly. Why hate on her? It was silly. :/
Then, when by a friend I heard that ANOTHER song by Rebecca Black was on the air, I was really excited. Turns out it was called "My Moment." I listened to it and I was shocked...
IT SOUNDED NOTHING LIKE HER!!! OMG!!! >:O
They put a LOT of voice editing into her song, I guess 'cuz they wanted to cut down the bullying. If you listened to it closely. though, you could still her her real voice behind all that editing. It was like a curtian/shield had been placed over her voicebox.
The song was really catchy, though. It's stuck into my head right now...

My fantasy back-to-school outfit :DD

Ooh, lucky you, you get TWO POSTS IN ONE DAY!!! Yay!
Mostly 'cuz I'm bored.
So anyway, this is my fantasy back-to-school outfit. By "fantasy" I mean I'll most likely never buy it and end up wearing shorts and a t-shirt to my first day, and wind up looking like the most generic girl on the planet. Which, for some reason always happens. EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.

I've always loved those crop tops that have cute words or designs on them. I'm seeing them a lot this year, they're really adorable and fun. Here's the outfit:  

Aren't these pieces absolutely funky? I'd love to add these to my wardrobe if I could, especially the shoes. Shoes make every outfit, even if they're the last thing you put on before you walk out the door. However, my mom most definitely would not let me out the door with those, lol!!! But a girl can dream, can't she?!? ^_^
